Both of these types have the same duties and tasks, and the only difference between them is the source of their income. However, integrity and objectivity are imperative in this profession, and people who are mentally weak and can succumb to pressure are not the ones who will make successful consultants in the long run. Other skills are also needed, such as logical reasoning, problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and so on. Consultants are working with people, which means that good communication skills are crucial, and capacity to work in a team is also a strong requirement for the success in this profession.
